If you’re looking for something different to get you through the gloomy winter ahead, we have the solution. We are open for business throughout the Winter providing day trips along the canal from Nash Mills, Hemel Hempstead. As for all our trips, you hire the boat, we provide the skipper and crew.

Crisp bright winter days on the canal can be just as enjoyable as warm sunny ones but even if we’re not so lucky with the weather, the centrally heated cabins will be cosy and warm. Our boats come equipped with snug tartan throws and cushions, both of which can also be used on the outside seating area for those sunnier days. During the winter we also have complimentary hot chocolate and marshmallows in addition to the normal range of beverages freely available for our guests.

From 1st December to 6th January the boats are in Festive dress and mince pies and mulled wine are included in the regular day or half day trip price.

For those preferring to hunker down in the cosy cabin, there’s a great on-board collection of music CDs, games and colouring activities to suit a range of age groups.
