Who’s in charge?

It’s the volunteers!

We are constituted as a charitable incorporated organisation, led by a board of volunteer Trustees. Operational Management is delegated to a Steering Group who have day to day responsibility for the running of the charity’s activities. The Steering Group comprises representatives from the key support teams.

We depend 100% on the willingness and commitment of local people to get involved in running and managing Waterways Experiences and we are always on the lookout for new recruits to our team, particularly people with business-related or trades skills that they’re willing to share.  Visit our volunteering page to find out more.
