A day on the canal that will live in your memory

Your very own boat for a day!

Our day trips are tailor-made for your particular group. You hire the whole boat and we provide the crew. You need to book at least one month in advance.

A day trip lasts up to seven hours (6 hours in winter). Half day trips last four hours. During the months of longer daylight, we can also offer evening 4 hour trips, but you need to plan on the boat being back at the base before sunset. If you’d like a longer trip during summer, please talk to the bookings team.

Sheldrake 3, which takes up to 35 passengers, is very busy until the end of August and in December.

Our smaller boats, which take up to 12 passengers, Sheldrake 2 and Close Shave have much more space. Please contact us for dates.

Note: You need to book at least one month before the date of your trip.
